My greatest career thrill so far has been when I got into the studio to record my first CD, and I started hearing the phenomenal session
players learning my songs. I stood in the sound booth blubbering like a baby with tears of happiness streaming down my face. It was then that the
whole "music thing" hit me hard, and I realized where my place was in this world. |

| MUSIC
INFLUENCES: |
I love an array of performers, but some definitely stand out for me. John Mayer, for instance is one of the most talented musicians on earth. I have to give the ultimate prize to Bonnie Raitt, however. I have idolized her since childhood. She does what she wants to do the way she wants to do it, and you have to respect that. I love strong independent women singers like Trisha Yearwood, Patti Loveless, Alison Krauss & Dolly. I also really respect Nickel Creek - one of the most interesting and talented bands in the business.
|
| NON-MUSIC INFLUENCES: |
I have always admired Helen Keller. She overcame such enormous adversity in her life. Although she was born both blind and deaf, she learned how to communicate with the outside world, and became one of the most respected and influential women of her generation. |
| FAVORITE SONG: |
"Prisoner In Disguise¨ by Linda Ronstadt. She influenced me very early on in my childhood. There is not one song on that album that I do not connect with in some way. |

Anything healthy, chicken, salad, fruit, etc. I love dark chocolate, though. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT.! |

I read anything I can get my hands on - the back of the toothpaste tube, the shampoo bottles in the shower - whatever has words on it. I am an avid reader, and I read VERY VERY fast. Right now I am hooked on Clive Cussler and Janet Evanovich. |
| MOVIE: |
My favorite movie of all time is "The Color Purple". One of my other favorites is "A Time To Kill". I also love comedies like Anchorman, Wedding Crashers, Superbad, Happy Gilmore. I DO NOT like scary movies at all - they give me bad dreams. |
| TV SHOW: |
I love to watch CSI Miami, Boston Legal and Iron Chef America. I don't get to watch TV as much as I'd like, though, because I am usually too busy. |

I like the New England Patriots. Tom Brady is cute. |
| VACATION SPOT: |
Love New Orleans. It's a great place to go for the weekend and hang with friends. Also, I have to say I am very spoiled. I live right on the Gulf Coast, so we have the most beautiful white sand beaches. Just hanging at Pensacola Beach is a vacation in itself.
